This clapboard sided log building is the third of our historic homes. Typical of 1870s construction in Northwest Ohio, the interior face of the logs has been whitewashed and the outside sided as the people made the transitions from log homes to frame houses. There is usually something cooking or baking in the wood-fired stove, and our costumed staff will be ready to share a recipe. Guests can also learn more about people of the Mennonite faith and the role this group played in the development of Northwest Ohio.
