Grand Opening

As if stepping into a time machine, Historic Sauder Village takes you back to the earliest days of Ohio's statehood. The new permanent 2-acre expansion to Sauder Village vividly re-creates life in the early 1800's. You will step into the daily lives of the Native Americans and Europeans who lived together in Northwest Ohio and experience their lifestyles and crafts and visit the wigwams, trading post, gardens and fields. In the words of Executive Director Debbie Sauder David, "What wonderful things happen when people with creative minds, willing hands and generous hearts work together"
