Sauder Village 15^th Annual Rug Hooking Awards 2011

SAUDER AWARD

The Sauder Village Award was selected as the piece that best exemplifies the mission and spirit of Sauder Village and represents outstanding artistry and quality of work.

This historic rug which was crafted by early pioneer and settler, Madalena Briner Eby, symbolizes the themes of  preservation, agriculture, family and ingenuity, which are at the heart of the Sauder Village culture.
