One class of your choice from the following selection:
Have you worked Entrelac flat? Then why not try doing it in the round? If you haven’t done Entrelac, as long as you can work in the round, you can do this sock. Color changing yarn makes this project come alive. You just can’t wait to see what the next section will look like. Sample worked in Jawoll Magic Fingering weight, but any long color repeat yarn will work. As a bonus, we will be learning how to knit backwards. This makes working Entrelac much easier and faster. These socks will fly off your needles once you learn this technique and watch for the color change. Sign up and find out how much fun this can be!

It’s really not as hard as you think! We’ll discuss legends, graph paper, and going back and forth from charts to written instructions. We’ll write out instructions from a chart, chart from written instructions, and compare swatches to charts to demonstrate how charts can help.

Teacher: Georgienne Westrick
Day / Time: Saturday morning, 9 – 11 a.m.

Want to see what the whole thing looks like? Then this is the class for you. Sample worked in fingering weight yarn on US #4 needles. We will be working from a chart and Clue 1 will be given out at the class. If you finish the Clue 1, then Clue 2 will be on hand for you or it will be e-mailed the week after the retreat. Clue 3 will be e-mailed to you two weeks after the class.
