Award winning artist Pat Moulton of Sparks, Nevada has been sculpting for 31 years. An artist from a young age, Pat’s interests have progressed from drawing, oil painting, making bears, making porcelain dolls to discovering her true passion of sculpting baby dolls. A pioneer in the field of silicone baby dolls, Pat has invented sculpting tools and armatures to help artists make their sculptings come to life. Pat was the first artist to design a kit for the reborning artist; that kit, Pork Chop, inspired other artists to create their own kits. Pat continues to learn new techniques and has developed her own ball-jointed dolls. Over the years, she has worked for Hartland Mint, Adora, Middleton, Sonya Hartmann for HSE, Doll Makers and Friends, Ashton Drake, Paradise Galleries, and Charisma. She also sculpts babies for Bountiful Babies. Pat enjoys sharing her passion of the art with others, through teaching and writing articles. She also developed a sculpting babies DVD. Pat has been nominated for doll awards from 1999-2011, recently receiving the Dolls of Excellence Award in 2010 for Madison. This year she won the Doty Industry’s Choice Award for Bundle of Joy and Lynn. She is a mother of two daughters and a son, and has four grandchildren. She credits her husband, Garel, and her family for providing support and encouragement to follow her dream. She is also grateful for the many wonderful collectors who have made her sculpting dreams come true.

“Teddys ‘R’ Art,” an Evening with Bev White Join Bev White of Happy Tymes ® Collectibles as she shares her passion for teddy bear design. This fun-filled evening, complete with door prizes, goody bags and refreshments! Bev and her husband, Mike, live in southeastern Pennsylvania where she launched Happy Tymes ® Collectibles in 1984. Bev makes numerous bear editions, one-offs, and loves to create her unique Portrait Bears®. Some of her most recent masterpieces have resulted from a rekindled interest in picture painting, by incorporating well known artworks with her bear designs. This marriage of interests results in detailed three-dimensional or high relief ‘bear parodies’ of famous artwork such as Klimt’s The Kiss -1907, Van Gogh’s Sunflowers -1886 and Wood’s American Gothic -1930. “It is quite an awesome challenge which allows me to explore new ideas and techniques in both mediums, however, it is not always understood by the observer, I believe.” This passion is evident in her award-winning work, which can be seen in numerous publications, museums, and shops worldwide. Through the years she has created designs for prominent national and international companies.
